Evergrande Wins HK$6 Billion Debt Recovery Case After Court Rejects 'Fabricated' Claims A recent court ruling has handed embattled conglomerate Evergrande a significant victory in its debt recovery efforts.
The Hong Kong courts have ordered Yingjia International to pay HK$6 billion, allowing Evergrande to recoup some of the massive debt that has threatened to engulf the company since 2021.
At the heart of the matter is State Hero Holdings, an indirect subsidiary of China Evergrande Group, which served a statutory demand on Yingjia International in February this year.
